In July 2000 the annual meeting was held on the campus of Eckerd College located directly on Tampa Bay at the southern limits of St. Petersburg.  Representatives assembled from the 38 secretariats with over 150 cursillistas attending.  Delegates were housed in third floor suites with balconies and a spectacular view, (especially at night) of the bay and Skyway.
